§ 1.28. Establishment of districts and map.

The city is hereby divided into districts, as shown on the official zoning map. The districts and their boundaries shall be as shown upon the map referred hereto and made a part of this ordinance, said map being designated "official zoning map." Said map, and all notations, references, and other information shown thereon, shall' be a part of this ordinance. If, in accordance with the provision of this ordinance, changes are made in district boundaries or other matters portrayed on the official zoning map, such changes shall:
1.

Be entered on the map promptly after the amendment has been approved by the city council;

2.

Include the date of official action and a brief description of the nature of the change; and

3.

Be signed by the mayor and attested to by the city secretary. No amendment to this ordinance which involves matters portrayed on the official zoning map shall become effective until after such change and entry have been made on said map.
