§ 6-2. Consumption or possession in public place.

It shall be unlawful for any person within the city to consume any alcoholic beverage in a public place or to possess any alcoholic beverage in a public place for the purpose of consuming such alcoholic beverages in a public place except (1) as provided in section 70-4 and (2) where a conditional use permit allowing such consumption and/or possession is granted pursuant to the applicable provisions of the zoning ordinance.
