§ 66-3. Shooting off, discharging, exploding guns, firecrackers or other explosive matter, bonfires, prohibited; exception.

  • Unless otherwise approved by the city council for an indoor shooting range within the public hearing parameters of a conditional use permit process, it shall be unlawful for any person to shoot off, fire or discharge any gun, pistol, revolver or any firearm of any description, or to fire, explode or set off any squib, firecracker or torpedo, Roman candle, skyrocket or anything containing powder, or other explosive matter, or to throw any fireball or to make any bonfire in the corporate limits of the city; provided, however, that this section shall not apply to any licensed shooting gallery.
