§ 66-4. Sale, exhibiting, or possessing combustible firecrackers or fireworks.

  • The exhibition, possession, sale, or offering for sale of any squib, rocket, cracker, torpedo, grenade, or any combustible firecracker or firework is a nuisance and is prohibited within the city and within an area immediately adjacent and contiguous to the city limits and extending for a distance of 5,000 feet. This section shall not apply to the sale of any such articles by wholesalers to each other; or to the sale of any such articles at wholesale to merchants conducting business entirely without the city; or to the sale by wholesalers for private or public demonstration as provided in this section.
